Summer Confirmation

Thank you for registering for the Danny Hall Baseball Summer Camp! Please print and/or bookmark this page for future reference. Below is generic confirmation info for our summer camps. We will also send an email out a week or so prior to each camp with any last minute info and reminders.

Camp Location

All camps (except Day I) are held at Russ Chandler Stadium on the Georgia Tech campus. Directions to the staduim can be found below. Parents are welcome to stay and watch from the stands. Parking info and a camps schedule will be emailed out about a week prior to each camp. Day Camp I will be held at Wills Park in Alpharetta, GA.

Check-In

Check-in for for all Day Camps, the Pitcher/Catcher/Defense Camp, the Hitting Camp, and the Prospect Camp will run from 8:15 AM - 9:00 AM at Russ Chandler Stadium on the first base side. See directions below. Check-in location for Day Camp I will be sent out the week before camp.

Check-in for Overnight Camp will run from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM on July 17 at a dorm TBD.

Check-Out

Check-out for the Day Camps is at 3:00pm. Check-out for the Pitcher/Catcher/Defense & Hitting Camp is at 4:00 PM.

For the Overnight Camp, check-out for overnight campers is at 4:00 PM on July 20. Commuting campers should be picked up at 9:00 PM each day (except July 20) and dropped off at 9:00 AM each day (except July 17).

The Prospect Camp will run from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM on August 27 and 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM on August 28.

Meals at Camp

All campers attending any Day Camp, Pitching/Catching/Defense Camp, or Hitting Camp are required to bring their own lunch to camp unless they purchase lunch through our Lunch Bunch program. Water will be provided and snacks and drinks will be available for purchase from our camp concession stand. If you did not purchase the Lunch Bunch, but would like to add it, please contact Ethan Shapiro at eshapiro@athletics.gatech.edu. Please note: due to the location of the camp, Lunch Bunch is not available at Day Camp I.

Overnight campers will be provided all meals at camp except dinner on July 17. In addition, commuting campers will not be provided breakfast.

Prospect Campers will be provided lunch on both days. Please be sure to eat breakfast before arriving.

Items to Bring to Camp

- Water bottle & sun screen (VERY important)

- Baseball appropriate attire (pants, hat, etc)

- Cleats, glove

- Non-cleated (tennis) shoes

-Bat, batting gloves, helmet (not required for pitching/catching/defense camp)

- Catchers should bring their own gear (not required for hitting camp)

- Please label all personal items

Overnight Campers Should Also Bring:

- Non-baseball clothing

- Twin sheets, pillow, pillow case, blanket

- Towel and toiletries

- Alarm clock

Camp Store

Camp souvenirs, snack, and drinks will be available for purchase at camp.

Refunds

Refunds will be given with written (letter or email) notice up to one week prior to the start of camp minus a $25 non-refundable processing fee.

Directions to Camp (Except Day Camp I)

From North, traveling South on I-75/I-85:

1. Take the "17th St/16th St/14th St" exit.

2. Continue straight through 14th Street towards 10th Street West

3. Turn right at dead end onto 10th Street

4. Take 1st left onto Fowler Street

5. The stadium is at the intersection of Fowler Street and Ferst Drive, however please continue straight for parking

6. Parking for check-in & check-out is available in the lower level of Peters Parking Deck.

7. The entrance to the deck is located at South end of Fowler Street (one block past the stadium)

From South, traveling North on I-75/85:

1. Take the "10th/14th Street" exit.

2. Turn left off the exit onto 10th Street.

3. After crossing over the highway, take your first left onto Fowler Street

4. The stadium is at the intersection of Fowler Street and Ferst Drive, however please continue straight for parking

5. Parking for check-in & check-out is available in the lower level of Peters Parking Deck.

6. The entrance to the deck is located at South end of Fowler Street (one block past the stadium)
